摘要:

目的 在電子發(fā)射及計(jì)算機(jī)斷層掃描系統(tǒng)(positron emission computed tomography/X-ray computed tomography,PET/CT)圖像衰減校正的能量轉(zhuǎn)換過程中,為了改進(jìn)雙線性轉(zhuǎn)換法用線性關(guān)系來擬合非線性關(guān)系的不足,本文以支持向量回歸為基礎(chǔ),提出了一種新的能量轉(zhuǎn)換法即支持向量回歸的PET/CT圖像衰減校正方法來進(jìn)行衰減校正,以尋找CT值和511keV能量下線性衰減系數(shù)值之間的最佳轉(zhuǎn)換關(guān)系。方法 使用仿真軟件GATE(Geant4 Application Tomographic Emission)模擬了11組不同材質(zhì)的圓柱體體模。然后根據(jù)GATE仿真的不同材質(zhì)圓柱體體模,求出其CT值和511keV能量下線性衰減系數(shù)值并代入SVR模型中進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練,建立CT值和511keV能量下線性衰減系數(shù)值之間的SVR模型。最后與目前PET/CT衰減校正能量轉(zhuǎn)換中常用的雙線性能量轉(zhuǎn)換法進(jìn)行對(duì)比分析,并分別應(yīng)用于GATE仿真的NCAT(NURBs Cardiac Torso)像素體模圖像中,評(píng)估兩種方法準(zhǔn)確性的差異。結(jié)果 支持向量回歸的PET/CT圖像衰減校正方法得到的511keV能量下對(duì)應(yīng)物質(zhì)的線性衰減系數(shù)值的相對(duì)百分誤差值較小(肺的相對(duì)百分誤差值3.1%和肝臟的相對(duì)百分誤差值1.08%),且經(jīng)過支持向量回歸法衰減校正的PET圖像,其MSE評(píng)價(jià)值都是最小的(176.9230),其PSNR和AG的評(píng)價(jià)值都是最大的(31.8621和7.9083)。這說明經(jīng)過支持向量回歸法衰減校正的PET圖像相比于雙線性轉(zhuǎn)換法衰減校正的PET圖像,更接近于靜態(tài)的圖像。結(jié)論 支持向量回歸的PET/CT圖像衰減校正方法在PET/CT圖像的衰減校正應(yīng)用中有更好的表現(xiàn),可以更好地吻合CT值與511keV能量下線性衰減系數(shù)之間的轉(zhuǎn)換關(guān)系,從而提高了PET/CT圖像的衰減校正效果,改善了PET/CT圖像定量的準(zhǔn)確性,便于醫(yī)生做出更精確的臨床診斷。

Objective A new energy conversion method based on support vector regression has been put forward to enhance the function of former attenuation correction process.Support vector regression based PET/CT image attenuation correction method is used to make up the shortcomings in terms of adopting linear relation to fit nonlinear relation when using bilinear transformation method in the energy conversion process of electron emission or PET/CT image attenuation correction and find the best conversion relationship between CT value and linear attenuation coefficient that under the energy condition of 511 keV.Methods The simulation program called GATE (Geant4 Application Tomographic Emission) was adopted in this work to simulate 11 groups of cylinder phantoms in different kinds of materials.According to the data of the simulated cylinder phantoms,the CT values and the linear attenuation coefficients of them could be calculated and then get trained through SVR model to set up new models.Finally,the new method and the former one were both applied to the GATE stimulated NCAT (NURBs Cardiac-Torso) pixel phantom image analysis process to evaluate the accuracy of them separately.Results The results showed that the calculated relative error percentages of the new method were smaller under the condition of 511keV using PET/CT image attenuation correction method (i.e.the relative error percentages for the data of the lung and liver were 3.1% and 1.08%).Additionally,the corrected PET images could have the minimum MSE value (176.9230) ,the maximum PSNG and AG value (31.8621 and 7.9083).The PET images corrected by the new method were more similar to the static images in comparison with those using former process.Conclusions The performance of the support vector regression based PET/CT image attenuation correction method is better than the previous one.The new method is more consistent with the transformational relations between CT value and the linear attenuation coefficient under the energy condition of 511keV,hence it could have better accuracy in analyzing PET/CT images quantitatively therefore enhancing the precision in clinical diagnosis as well.
