An automatic and efficient electroanatomic map and CT surface registration method

摘要:

目的 為房顫消融手術(shù)提供一種自動(dòng)精確的電解剖圖與CT曲面配準(zhǔn)算法。方法 首先,以基于主軸的方法粗配準(zhǔn)電解剖圖與CT曲面,然后以基于迭代最近點(diǎn)的方法進(jìn)一步精配準(zhǔn)兩圖。結(jié)果 采用CartoMerge、隨機(jī)方法和本文提出的基于迭代最近點(diǎn)的方法分別逐一配準(zhǔn)三組真實(shí)和三組模擬的電解剖圖與CT曲面。相對(duì)Carto-Merge和隨機(jī)方法,基于迭代最近點(diǎn)的方法配準(zhǔn)結(jié)果穩(wěn)定,精度最高,而且算法完全自動(dòng),無(wú)需任何手動(dòng)操作。結(jié)論 基于迭代最近點(diǎn)的電解剖圖與CT曲面配準(zhǔn)算法能很好地滿(mǎn)足臨床房顫消融手術(shù)的需求。

Objective To propose an automatic and accurate electroanatomic map (EAM) and CT surface registration algorithm for atrial fibrillation ablation surgeries. Methods First, EAM and CT surface were coarsely aligned by the principal axes based method. Then, they were finely aligned by iterative closest point algorithm (ICP). Results Three real EAM/CT pairs and three simulated EAM/CT pairs were respectively registered by CartoMerge, stochastic approach (SA) and our ICP based method. Compared to CartoMerge and SA, our method ran full automatically and obtained steadier and much more accurate registration results. Conclusions ICP based method is efficient for catheter navigation in atrial fibrillation ablation surgeries.
